Yummy Pancakes

Serves 4


1.5 cups self raising flour
1.5 cups full cream milk
1 large egg
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon butter (for greasing pan)


1. Sift flour in a large bowl
2. Beat the egg
3. Stir in beaten egg, milk and sugar into the flour
4. Mix together well until you get a smooth consistency
5. Heat the pan and melt butter
6. Using a ladle, spoon one ladel-ful of the mixture into the pan, tipping the pan quickly so that the mixture coats the whole pan
7. Wait until small bubbles appear in the pancake and then carefully flip the pancake over for another couple of minutes
8. Continue until all batter is cooked
9. Serve with lemon and sugar, jam or honey
