1 3/4 cups milk 2 1/2 tbsp. flour 1/4 cup granulated sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 cup cold milk
Heat 1 3/4 cups milk in a double boiler. Combine flour and sugar; gradually blend in vanilla and 1/4 cup milk. Beat until smooth. Gradually add this mixture to the scalded milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Serve hot, together with freshly made Crisp Waffles.
A wonderful treat as a meal or even an after school snack.
