4 C. Bran Flakes Cereal.- 1 L 2 C. All Bran Cereal. -500 mL 2 C. Boiling Water. -500 mL
1 C. Margarine, softened. -250 mL 1 1/2 C. Granulated Sugar. -375 mL 1 1/2 C. Brown Sugar, packed. -375 mL 4 Eggs. 4 C. Buttermilk. 1 L 1/4 C. Molasses(optional) 50 mL
5 C. A P Flour. -1.25 L 2 Tbsp. Baking Soda. -30 mL 1 Tbsp. Baking Powder. -15 mL 1 Tsp. Salt. -5 mL 2 C. Rasins. 500 mL
In large bowl combine cereals and boiling water. Let stand.
In mixing bowl cream butter and sugars together. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Mix in buttermilk. Add molasses. Stir in cereal mixture.
In another bowl combine flour, soda, baking poweder, salt and raisins. Mix thorouly. Add to batter. Stir just to combine. Store in refrigerator. It will keep for six weeks. Bake in 400 F oven for 20-25 min.
I don't add raisins on half lol my daughter hates cooked raisins
