Easy Pancakes

This is my Grandmother's pancake recipe. Works perfectly every time :)


230g Self Raising Flour
2 free range eggs
240ml milk
2 pinches salt


Sift flour and salt. Beat the eggs and milk and mix into a batter with the flour.
Heat a frypan and add a little butter so the pancake doesnt stick.
Place a spoonful of the mixture on the frypan and flip when bubbles appear on the surface.
When cooked and golden remove from the pan and serve.

I love serving these with maple syrup and whipped cream.
They are also nice served with jam, sugar and lemon juice, berries and ice cream or chocolate topping and ice cream.


To make crepes- add extra milk until the batter is nice and thin.

If you like your pancakes a little sweeter you can add a small teaspoon of sugar.
