A melee of colours and healthy to top it off!


1 medium chicken
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 large tomatoes
5 sprigs of parsley
3 bay leaves
2 tbsp. garlic powder
3 tbsp. onion powder (or 1 chopped onion)
4 pkg. tomato vegetable soup mix
2 tins tomato soup


Remove skin from chicken and cut into pieces.
Cook in water, salt and pepper until almost done.
Take out all bones and return the meat to the pot.
Cut up cabbage and tomatoes. Place parsley and bay leaves into a large teaball and drop into the pot.
Add remaining ingredients and cook until cabbage looks done.


We enjoy some cream in our individual bowls, along with soda crackers. A hearty soup, filled with goodness!
