Chicken Burgers

Serves 6+


This recipe is great for burgers or can be made into meatballs.


600 grams free range chicken breasts
1 carrot finely grated
1 onion
1 free range egg
bread crumbs
Salt and pepper


1. Trim the chicken and dice into large chunks.
2. Place into the food processor and process until minced evenly.
3. Place mince into a large mixing bowl.
4. Peel and roughly chop the onion. Place into food processor and process until finely chopped. Add to the chicken mince.
5. Finely grate the carrot and add to chicken mixture.
6. Add an egg, season with salt and pepper and mix until well combined.
7. Add desired amount of breadcrumbs until the mixture becomes thick.
8. Form into patties and cook in a non-stick fry pan until cooked through.


You can eat these burgers on their own or fill a roll with your favourite ingredients add the burger and enjoy.
