American pancakes with maple syrup and cream
2 cups of flour (sifted) 1 tbsp sugar 4 tsp baking powder 2 eggs lightly beaten 1 tsp vanilla essence 4 tbsp butter (melted) maple syrup single or double cream Milk
combine all the dry ingredients for the pancakes in a bowl, In a separate bowl combine the eggs,milk,vanilla,butter, then stir into the dry ingredients stir in milk until you reach the consistency smooth. Pour the batter on/in a lightly buttered pan, when bubbles form and open, flip over. Do this until you have the required amount of pancakes.
Serve the pancakes with maple syrup and or cream, you may add friut etc to suit your taste.
