Serves many

Ingredients

30 medium apples
1 cinnamon stick
1 Lemon
1 cup sugar
pinch of salt

Instructions

1. Peel and core apples

Slice apples and place in pot

Add all ingredients plus a cup of water

Bring to boil and simmer for 30 minutes stirring occasionally

Remove cinnamon stick

For smooth apple sauce place cooked apples in blender and bottle in sterilized preserving jars
2. Best served with roast pork
