Instructions
1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees celsius 2. Sift flour and bicarbonate of soda together and set aside 3. Cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy 4. Add egg and vanilla essence and beat well 5. Stir in the sifted dry ingredients and chopped chocolate bits until mixture is well blended 6. Form into 5 cm pieces, squash down and place on greased baking trays, leaving room for spreading in the oven 7. Bake for 12-15 mins or until light golden brown
