5 minutes to prepare and 15 minutes to cook

Description

This is THE easiest thing to cook and makes a great snack or light meal. I prepared it for a friend once and they looked on horrified at what I was creating... until they tasted it and said "wow, this is good, who'd have thought it".

Ingredients

1 can baked beans
3/4 cup pasta (your choice, spirals/penne/macaroni)
3/4 cup grated tasty cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1 dessertspoon of worcestershire sauce (optional)

Instructions

Cook the pasta (as per instructions) until al dente (usually about 10-15 mins). Drain and set aside. Empty can of baked beans into a saucepan and place over medium heat, stirring until beans come to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in cooked pasta, worcestershire sauce and grated cheese. Continue stirring until cheese is completely melted. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve with crusty bread, on it's own or on toasted bread (of choice).

Notes

** Baked beans in Australia are just beans in a tomato based sauce that you buy ready to heat in the supermarket.
