An old family recipe from an Irish background..

Ingredients

Rack of Bacon ribs, carrots,swede,lentils,potatoes,vegetable stock,savoy cabbage. salt,pepper, mixed herbs.

Instructions

Boil ribs to reduce salt content, place vegetables, lentils and ribs into slow cooker, add stock and stir, add mixed dried herbs and a bayleaf, start on high after 2 hours reduce to low, add salt and pepper 20 minutes before serving.

Notes

Add condiments to suit your taste..Remember to separate ribs into single , meat should melt off the bone when done.. This is more of a chunky soup..
